Occupational Therapists
Jeannette Burg, EdD OTR
Jeannette is the original owner of Occupational Therapy Services and NE Speech / Language Center. She obtained her Bachelor of Health Science degree from the University of Florida, her Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Houston, and her Doctorate in Education from Nova Southeastern University.
Jeannette provided occupational therapy in hospitals and several Houston school districts before starting the private practice. Her dream has always been to have a pediatric rehabilitation center providing top quality occupational and speech therapies with a team of advanced clinicians.
Speech Pathologists
Elena Dugas, M.S. CCC-SLP
Elena is a licensed and certified Speech and Language Pathologist. She graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and she earned her Master’s degree from Lamar University. Elena holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence and is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She has been with Occupational Therapy Services since 2001.
Office Manager
Kathy Rios
Kathy Rios joined Occupational Therapy Services in October 1996. She has over 30 years experience in a variety of office settings including 10 years in legal billing and 19 years in medical billing and coding. She is responsible for the smooth day to day operation of the office, including scheduling, billing, insurance claims, obtaining doctors orders and authorizations. She is a vital part of our team.
